What this site collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it: what you send through the contact form, and visit statistics only if you accept cookies.

Who we are

When you write to us
The contact form asks for your name, your email, an optional mobile number, your message, and the date and time you prefer if you book a call. We store them in our own content system, and we get an email telling us a message has arrived.
We use them only to reply to you and to talk about the work you asked about. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't sell or rent your details to anyone.
Visit statistics
If you accept cookies, the site loads Google Analytics. It tells us which pages are read, roughly where visitors are, what device and browser they use, and how they found the site. Google sets two cookies for this, _ga and one starting with _ga_, which last up to two years.
If you decline, Google Analytics doesn't load and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Google handles this data under its own privacy policy, at policies.google.com/privacy. We keep it for the period set in our Analytics account, at most 14 months.
Cookies and browser storage
Apart from the analytics cookies above, the site sets no cookies. Your cookie choice is saved in your browser's local storage so we don't ask on every page; clearing your browser data clears it.
Security and spam
Like most websites, our server records technical details of each request, such as IP address and browser, to keep the site working and secure. When a form submission looks like spam or arrives too often, we keep its IP address and email address so we can block repeat abuse.
Who else handles it
A few providers run parts of the site for us: the company that hosts our server, our email delivery provider, Cloudflare, which stores the site's images, and Google, for visit statistics if you accept. They handle data only to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
We keep your messages as long as we need them to answer you and to handle any work that follows, and we delete them sooner if you ask.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your cookie consent at any time. Write to us at the email address above and we'll answer within a month.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new effective date.
